This is a beautiful Danemann HS2 Piano. Wikipedia says:
In 1963 Stanley Murdoch, piano buyer for Harrods, commissioned W. Danemann and Company to build “the best upright in the world”; the result was the HS2, based on the classic Danemann upright.
Some of the features of the piano are a 3rd practice pedal, a Renner Piano Action as used by Steinway, a special soundboard and string scaling, and a fully braced back for tuning stability. There is an extra long music desk ideal for teaching and duet playing. The piano is 118cm tall allowing for longer strings giving a rich, even sound, and the cabinet is finished in a very nice polished mahogany.
This is a lovely piano which would suit any student or professional, and it’s quality of build will ensure many years of trouble free playing.
Viewing is welcome, and I know some very good, reasonably priced professional piano movers, so am happy to help with arrangements, cost dependent on location.
