Classic W. G. EAVESTAFF Upright PIANO
in VERY GOOD condition. Probably Mahogany (or possibly Rosewood).
Not too sure, but it has a dark reddish tint to the wood.
Nice engravings on the front.

This was one of the last traditional Eavestaff ‘uprights’,
as 1934 saw the introduction of their successful (and Brasted’s)
Minipianos/Pianette models.
Some superficial flaws on this (a few marks on the top that may
need to be polished out), minor chips, and a tear in the cloth on
the back of the piano, about a foot wide.
But really not bad for almost 90 years old.
May need some tuning, but it sounds fine to my ear (although I
have extremely limited playing skills).
Not tuned for approx 5 years.
Excellent pedal control/sound. Keys fully intact.
All in all, it is in very decent condition, although quite heavy.
Passed on to us by my wife’s father, who was a classically trained pianist.
Great asset for those with children having piano lessons.
Our own daughter unfortunately lost interest playing years ago, having
reached Stage 4, and, as we wish to move house in the next few years,
we are reluctantly selling.
Quite RARE to find 1900 to 1934 Eavestaff uprights for sale.
Collection only, and if you wish to view first before deciding to buy, we live
