General Fazley’s FSP-500 is a digital piano with 88 hammer action keys that give it the same playing feel as an acoustic piano. It has 16 sounds on board including a beautiful grand piano as well as electric pianos, organs and strings. Choosing sounds is quick and easy thanks to the well-designed control panel. The FSP-500 comes complete with a sustain pedal, but it’s also possible to buy a separate base that has three pedals attached for a true piano playing experience.FunctionalityThanks to the layer function, sounds can be combined giving you something a little different when you require it and it’s even possible to adjust the volumes of the different instruments separately. You can also add effects like reverb and chorus to your sounds. There’s a built-in metronome to help you play in time and you have the possibility to choose between different time signatures as well. You can also explore the master tuning, transpose and EQ functions and play along to one of the 16 built-in demo songs.ConnectorsThe FSP-500 has a speaker system on board, but there’s also a headphone connector so that you can practise in silence whenever you like. Should you need more volume, you can connect external speakers via the stereo RCA line outputs. You can also connect a computer via the USB B port on the back which allows you to send MIDI signals and work with a DAW, for instance. A power adapter is included, but the FSP-500 can also be powered by 6 D cell batteries that allow you to play it virtually anywhere.
