Here’s a project that I’m never going to finish, but you might. It’s a rail that sits on the end cheeks of a 54 note organ keyboard and is designed to push up the backfalls of a tracker action single manual chamber organ.
It is complete, and I have had it working on the workbench. But unfortunately for various reasons I never actually got around to coupling it up to the tracker mechanism.
There are 54 magnets, correctly spaced to align with the key tails. The Midi decoder board is from Midi Boutique, and could be used for other purposes (Hauptwerk, etc.)
The power supply is included. (12VDC, I think, from memory). From the picture of the pcb it can be seen that two of the IC’s are missing. This was due to a slight mishap in the early stages, but I have spare chips (if I can find them, or if not they are readily available). The magnets are all good, and have diode click suppression. I might have a few extra loose magnets which I will include.
I invested a fair amount of time on this, but now just want it to go to someone who might be able to use it. The whole assembly is surprisingly heavy, but I will pack and courier it for whatever it costs me. Or better, collection in person (Cranleigh), or could meet somewhere mutually convenient.
