Ensoniq Halo keyboard by EM-U Fully Loaded, with flight case. 3 expansion ROMS. Condition is Used.
This listing is for the Rare Ensoniq Halo Keyboard from 2002, which features the expanded Sounds of the ZR ROM. To this I have added the B3 ROM, sold sometimes in a rack unit, with samples of a Hammond B3 by John Novello of Niacin, the Vintage Keyboard ROM and a Proteus 2000 ROM, with its wide selection of sounds. Around 2500 sounds including the “Perfect Piano”, and a rock organ to die for.
This has been gigged occasionally, and is notable for its Hammond sounds and the brass, which is quite different from the Yamaha and Roland sounds. And the speed of the keyboard which feels good to play.
I am selling this because I have bought a real Hammond, although it’s spacey, synthey sounds will be missed.
It has built in FX processors, and extra sockets which allow these to be bypassed to use with external FX. Midi is by 5 pin din. There is no USB. The switch panel on the right allows quick access to stored sounds and can be used to trigger beats and arps presets, this function not being available in the rack modules.
Having been gigged there is some rash underneath as can be seen in the photos.
To keep it in the condition it is in I had a custom built case made by Thomann, and this is included.
This unit is rare, is in very good condition, and I will not let it go cheap. It also features the extra ROMS, which increase the value significantly.
I am marking this as buyer collects, but I am prepared to wait in if you would like to send your own carrier. It is too heavy to send through ebay mailing system, although if required I can search for a best price.
