This is Gotek floppy emulator flashed with FlashFloppy also with OLED display installed ready to use with Akai MPC2000 and MPC2000XL. You will need your own USB drive, I will provide download link including config file, blank images and OS updates.Just put that in the root of your FAT32 formatted USB drive and you’re ready to go. No need to mess with jumpers, plug and play.
MPC2000 os1.72, MPC2000XL os 1.14 and os 1.20 images included with the download.
Thanks to the Oled display you can name your floppy images as you like and group them in folders. Super easy 2 button navigation. It will load your last selected image after reboot. Great for booting newest OS on startup or your favourite sounds.You can create images on your PC and MAC and load the sounds on your MPC.Save your work on Blank image and then rename on your PC
Forget older solutions without OLED display when you had to remember floppy numbers.

This device only emulates floppy drive and not a hard disk.

Images only hold 1.44MB each however this is plenty for drum sounds. If you sample long and complex sounds look into SCSI solution.
