C1920 Upright Piano by good quality British maker J and J Hopkinson. Full iron frame overstrung underdamped, the best type. The cabinet is finished in medium mahogany with a light mahogany centre panel. The instrument had new hammers and tapes in the 1970s. All the notes play well with an even responsive action.
