Hammond C3 organ and Leslie 145 custom built gigging organ rig.. Condition is Used.
For sale: Hammond C3 type organ which has been professionally split to produce an ultimate gigging tone-wheel Hammond. There is currently a problem with the pre-amp which lack of time prevents me from sorting.I believe that a capacitor has failed which anyone that knows these instruments will be able to diagnose and easily fix. This means that the sound is currently weak and lacking bass but it does work.This is a custom built organ made from a professionally split cabinet with A100 internals. It has been built to a very high standard as a gigging organ from the outset. The original organ dates from the early to mid 1960’s which I bought approximately 20 years ago.The tone-wheel generator is fixed rather than suspended on springs meaning that there is no need to lock it when moving the organ. There is a Leslie kit built in for connection to the Leslie 145 cabinet.This has a locking Alcatel connector rather than the standard 6 pin Leslie connector and the mains connector has been changed for a standard IEC kettle lead. The expression pedal is connected by a magnetic link to allow the console to be split from the base.The Leslie cabinet has been modified for gigging by the addition of abase board with four industrial grade castor wheels, two of which are locking. Recessed handles have been added on two sides to allow the cabinet to be lifted. The amplifier has had its standard connector replaced by a matching locking Alcatel for connection to the console.There is a connection box on the front of the console allowing connection of the Leslie half-moon switch which is removable as well as a foot-switch for Leslie speed switching.Also included is an A100 style bench.The organ, Leslie and bench are finished in a black.These items need to be collected due to the weight of the organ.
