HAMMOND C3 TONE WHEEL ORGAN. Collection in person only. Listed here is a 1960s Hammond organ model C3. It has the genuine Tone Wheel generators with each tone wheel creating a pure tone that gives the Hammond organ the famous sound heard on many recordings. It is an instrument that would benefit a Tone Cabinet such as a Leslie speaker and a control switch is fitted for one, also sockets to plug a Leslie speaker in. Shows some cosmetic wear but still in good condition – see pictures and details.
It has two keyboards, both the upper and lower are each five octaves with individual switching for vibrato and chorus with percussion on the top manual. There are two sets of drawbars and pre-sets for each manual, and drawbars for the bass pedals which are the full 2 octaves and the organ comes with a stool.
It is in good condition for its age and has just recently been serviced and overhauled.
Because of its size and weight, the buyer collects.A Leslie model 760 speaker cabinet is also available but not within the price, together sounds amazing! If you wish to visit to see the organ before bidding, please send me a message to make arrangements. Thanks.
