A 1966 Hammond L122 Organ
Valve driven organ with Tonewheel generator.
Has been fully checked and serviced, with new electrolytic capacitors in the power amp, as well as some other components, where appropriate. Serviced by us at Vintage Keys Studio.
Sounds incredible and good as new. All tabs, notes, drawbar, vibrato, reverb, percussion envelopes and pedals are working great. You will need to purchase some tone wheel generator oil separately. This needs to be lubricated once a year.
This organ has also had a line out (unbalanced) and a ‘Jon Lord’ style Overdrive switch and level pot, fitted on the front panel. This passive circuit sounds amazing. Please note there is no gain makeup on that effect. Sounds amazing close miked. We have been using this organ for some prog rock recordings recently.

The Overdrive effect is in the main amp stage, not the preamp, so doesn’t make any difference to the line out signal. You could wire up a speaker cut/line out from the speaker output, and this would allow the Overdrive effect to be sent via a line out. If you would like this circuit added, it would be an extra 55 (and I will amend the ebay invoice once it has sold)
Cosmetically it looks good, especially the black front – a few smallish dinks in the wood finish here and there , but nothing drastic. It has been in a smoke free studio for a number of years.

The organ will fit in a regular sized estate car, on its back. It will ideally need two strong people to manoeuvre it upon delivery.
