Hammond L122 Tonewheel Spinet Organ.Used, works, some servicing and TLC recommended!
For sale is my heavily patinated (thats marketing nonsense for beaten up) Hammond L122 organ.
The L122 is a genuine, valve, tonewheel Hammond and a smaller, lighter brother to the mighty B3/C3. Keith Emerson used the L122 extensively as did other prog acts like Focus etc
Good Bits:Runs, makes a sound, amplifier was rebuilt a few years ago as I understand with a new mains transformer and solid state rectifier for reliability.
Bad Bits:This organ spent most of its life in gig venues and studios in the West Midlands. The cabinet is pretty beaten up, one key is missing and the volume soft and bright tabs are broken off.
Also, the organ output level is lower than Id expect and a bit distorted.
This is a genuine tonewheel hammond which with some TLC will easily sing again. Please understand it will need some love and maintenance for it to be tip top again.
