Here’s a rare chance to obtain a Hammond tonewheel/valve console that’s been fully overhauled and extensively modified to a high standard by a qualified & experienced engineer.
The Service/overhaul & mods carried out are as follows-* Manuals stripped/cleaned & metalwork chassis refinished in anti-rust paint.
* All foam rubber strips removed- no missing tones
* Busbars cleaned & lubed
* All keys removed & cleaned/polished
* Drawbars stripped & cleaned
* Vibrato scanner overhauled
* Preamp rebuilt with new capacitors & resistors
* Percussion section rebuilt to give individual harmonics + variable volume & decay
* Vibrato modded to give ‘C3’ chorus-type depth
* Click filter removed- plenty of key-click on this organ
* Preset tabs rewired for popular rock/jazz settings(Jimmy Smith/Booker T/Winwwood)
* Built-in 35W valve amp modified to give option of adjustable overdrive by using redundant brush/cymbal input stage
* Case split below tg shelf & bolts recessed- just slide the top on the base
* Heavy duty flight case handles fitted to aid transport
The E300 series have 61 note manuals and the same lower/upper manual foldback as the legendary B3/C3 series.With the percussion and vibrato mods this organ has the same key tonal features as an A100,C3 or B3
The TG has red mylar caps and runs quietly
The mods make for a very practical and sorted gigging organ which beats gigging a clone or virtual Hammond hands down as a musical experience- you cant beat the smell of warm oil,dust,& wood! The only negative aspect of the organ is the cabinet which has a fair amount of scuffs & dings but then it is around 50+ years old and if you want a living-room console then they come up occasionally but command big bucks!
The organ is wired for pedals but there is no pedal board, nor is there a bench. A matching pedal board is available separately by negotiation if one is needed.
Obviously, due to size & weight the organ is collection only and you’ll need a van or large estate car. I can help with loading.

Most Hammond tonewheel organs are becoming overdue extensive overhaul given their age & probable lives- you could spend a similar amount to the asking price for a well used ‘beater’ that’ll end up costing far more in repairs and let you down-or you could bid on this! :o)
