Hammond XH-200 Grand Flagship Organ

(The Last of the big wonderful Digital Hammond Organs)

Meticulously cleaned inside and out, professionally polished, pedal-board polished and hard wax for durable protection. Speakers and base all cleaned inside and out, all software systems checked, all working. A very nice example of a very versatile organ.

Selling due to moving on to a Classical Digital for teaching. I do not need 2 organs with full pedal-boards as I have only space for one.

COLLECT WHEN YOU WANT ALTHOUGH IT MIGHT BE CHEAPER IF YOU USE THE SAME COMPANY AS ME AND HAVE IT PICKED UP THE SAME DAY MINE IS DELIVERED TO SAVE YOU COST ON NOVEMBER 5TH, OR 6TH. THEIR PRICES ARE THE BEST I HAVE FOUND ANYWHERE, AND THEY WILL DELIVERY UPSTAIRS, WHERE MOST WON’T.

AND, IF YOU LIVE IN SCOTLAND DELIVERY IS NO PROBLEM, WHERE MANY DELIVERY COMPANIES IN ENGLAND WILL NOT GO SO FAR NORTH OF THE BORDER.

The organ is situated up stairs and has to be brought down 14 steps with easy wide access, so if you collect yourself you will need yourself and another. I will help as well.

The organ is one solid unit, but pedal-board separates.

I also own a Content EXP-440 Classical Organ Sound Module should you wish to have a Pop Organ and a classical all in one. Also for sale on eBay UK.

I also own a Roland AT80SL which has a short more limited pedal-board so do not need 2 Pop organs either. However, the Hammond XH-200 has everything you need from any organ, and whilst the AT80SL has a touch screen and upgraded samples there are a lot of reasons why the XH-200 is better in quite a few cases.

Putting aside the fact that the Hammond has a full pedal-board and a far much comfortable full size bench, the sound in comparison is much bigger and warmer, more lush. You have an array of full effects to add to your music including thunder, rain, gun shots and there are 4 full pages of them to go through. Great if you want to play Thriller with some thunder and rain at the beginning for effect. The sound fill the room and feels as though it is coming from all directions. These are not on the 80SL.

I find the strings nicer and more authentic than on the AT80SL, nicer for backing too. The Hammond sound on the XH-200 is unbeatable, and although it is digital it is very close to a real Hammond tone wheel organ, it imitates the B3 and the A100, plus you can add overdrive to sound like Jon Lord, and it has the 32ft drawbar sounds which many do not and with the big speaker system sounds out of this world. Plus the Hammond keyboard feels like a B3/A100.

A separate authentic Leslie speaker can be added rather than using the internal, which can be switched on or off on the XH-200. On the Roland I find their imitation Hammond lack luster.

There are quite a few synth sounds on the Hammond you wont find on the Atelier, so playing 80s Pop sounds wonderful.

The bass pedals sounds are a lot better than on the AT80SL, more authentic, and there is a lot more choice, plus you can either set them to play individual, or set them to play 2 feet and play them classical style.

The sounds blend a lot better leading to a bigger overall sound, plus you can multi layer them and adjust them manually using the draw-bars when these are not being used to play the Hammond sound, or you can adjust them internally.

You can pan individual sounds through one speaker and others through another for effect. You have to learn the Hammond but it has its own logical system, basically pressing and holding buttons.

I have been through the manual front to back writing it out in my own words which I was going to re-write into a book so as to master the Hammond completely., but since I am now selling I do not have time to write them in, so will pass this on with the organ.

Also comes with a multitude of Pre-Set Disks, and AutoBand disks worth now 25 each, and these are very hard to find. These will set up your organ with any type of sound or style you need.

I also have the original brochures and Hammond folder for this organ.

I cannot fit this in my bedroom due to a sharp turn, hence I am keeping the 80SL and selling the Hammond. If I had room I would keep it, and I am sad to see it go.

The last of the Hammond big versatile organs and their best. The possibilities are endless with this organ.

Video is not me playing but is the same organ, except that it has a more elegant case, all the sounds and styles are in my organ. And it has the same speakers and amplifier.
