Vintage 1960s Hohner Organa 249K Automatic Electric Reed Organ
This vintage West German made electric organ has seen better days but is nevertheless ready for use with all notes on both voices working, as is the rotary volume control which allows far greater dynamic control than many electric reed organs from this era. It is also worth noting that the 49 keys are full sized, not miniature, as they often are on more basic organs. This model can be seen selling for over 500 when in tidy and complete condition.
The legs are missing, as is the cover/surround for the stoppers and volume control, the chassis has swelled somewhat and the covering has started to peel in places, due to storage in damp conditions at some point. The clasps don’t quite close properly anymore because of this so the lid needs to be strapped or taped down for transport. There is also some cosmetic damage to the power switch, which is still fully operational.
It could be great restoration project for someone, or else just used as it is, as it is functional.
