Human organ set by Active Designs Education – in as new condition. (Around 80)
This has only been used once.
This is a great set for teaching the names, function and position of internal body parts. Seven different parts of the body are represented – 2 lungs, 2 kidneys, the heart, stomach, liver, intestine and the appendix.
They all have Velcro on the back so that they can be attached to the childrens jumpers to demonstrate the position of the body parts.
There are 7 plastic labels with the names of the body parts. These also have Velcro on the back to attach to the felt body parts.
There is a double-sided laminated sheet with a labelled diagram. The reverse side has no labels so it can be photocopied for the children to write the labels themselves.
There is also an information sheet for use with older children about the effect of smoking and drinking on these parts of the body.
There are similar sets to this on various school education websites for over 80.
