Hand made in Germany in 1909 this Ibach Baby Grand piano is a beautifully sounding instrument and a fine piece of furniture. It has superb volume balance and, being overstrung, has an action that provides consistent accuracy and sensitivity. The sound and touch belong more to a full grand piano; with a deep sonorous bass and resonant upper registers; but the smaller size of the Baby Grand allow it to be a more practical piece of furniture.
The piano has been played and tuned regularly, and had the bass section re-strung 9 years ago. It has provided many hours of composition and pleasure, and we are only selling because our son has emigrated to Australia.The piano is obviously being advertised elsewhere and may be removed from this listing at any time
