JOHN BROADWOOD AND SONS, “VICTORIAN ERA” Baby Grand Piano, the serial number indicates it was made between 1890 and 1900.
Played by my mother, until a couple of years ago, when she stopped due to arthritis, she has now gone into a nursing home, so it must go
It is a two pedal model, and has been tuned every year, even when she stopped playing it, the piano tuner says it plays very well, and has a good tone,
Unfortunately the casing is not in the best condition, with some of the trim missing from the bottom, there are some marks, and scratches here and there, and some of the laminate is lifting in a small area.
This would be a great practice instrument, or a project for renovation of the cabinet.
Being sold with no reserve.
Buyer to remove and transport away, within two weeks of the end of auction, as the house is being sold
Any questions, or to have a look at it, phone, 02380610134 and ask for Barry or Isabel
