John Broadwood & Son London upright piano.
This piano has been in my wifes family for most of her mothers life and all of my wifes life. So it is at least 70 to 80 years old if not older. It has a manufactures serial number of 98142. I am told you can find out the year of manufacture from this. The piano has been unused for years now. My wife plays a little but doesnt seem to keen to anymore or as she says she hasn’t the time. I am not to sure about the playing condition but I would say the instrument needs some restoration certainly tuneing and perhaps restringing. Some of the keys have chipped edges these maybe ivory or look like ivory.
If is a very very heavy item and it will need two or three people to move it.
Were downsizing and as such will no longer have the space for it.
