If you google John Broadwood &co. and enter serial number 82783(cast
into iron frame, others I have seen seem to be stencilled on ?) you will see the early manufacturing date of this lovely old instrument..(1890,s)
Known as a cottage upright it has an Iron frame which holds tune better and tone is nice.
Casing has slight marks where candle holders would have been (pre gas or electric supply) and various marks from use but is all solid and polishes up well with a soft cloth(never use any products on a piano..tone).
Stool which hold music books is present.
This has castors, but is heavy so must be collected (we can help load it)
