Hi,i have for sale a selection of old organ instruments that were originally from the John Compton Organ at Wolverhampton Civic hall.These adte to around the 1920’s and there are some nice lots here.There is a whistle block that contains a three pipe train whistle and a large plain whistle.I have blown air through the block and they sound lovely.There are four sets of old Premier Bakelite castanets mounted on a wooden block.There is a large Premier stamped triangle.Along with these are a set of numbered mounted crotal bells and a set of mounted Tambourine jangles.There is a brass spun cymbal which is quite thin and has a several undulations. Lastly there are two drum mallets,a steel mallet bar set in cradle and a spring loaded brass hammer.Please look at the pictures to see the general condition.
Collection is fine from the Erdington area of Birmingham.The postage will be 10 to send to the UK ,I can send further but please ask for a quote if you are unsure.Many thanks for looking.
