Iam selling my Kawai CA-111 Flagship Upright Digital Concert Grandwith a six speaker internal system, which is
in perfect condition.Only used occasionally, and comes from a pet, smoke free environment.
Alsocomes with a matching black stool, User Manual and Brochure.
Slowfall lid so child friendly and wont damage the piano if the lid isknocked to the close position.
Thisis for the purist keyboard player as it has no accompaniment, andjust relies on the sounds that it has.
Upgrade Comparison
OriginallyI looked at upgrading but found the CA-111 to be absolutely the best.I tried the CS-11 which I found to
be exactly the same in feel andsounds as the CA-111, the only difference being that the panel hasmoved to the left
at the keys low end.
Everythingyou can do on the CS-11 you can do on the CA-111, adjusting thestring resonance, pedal noise,
darkening the tone, adding more trebleand bass, etc.
Itried the new Kawai CA range including the CA97 and found them to beinferior to my CA-111, the keyboard doesnt feel as responsive,acquiring a pianissimo more difficult, and the sound is nowhere nearas superior to the
CA-111.
Alsohaving a real piano cabinet makes a real difference, making it notonly sound more natural, but also making it
sound far more realsomething the new CA range does not have.
Alternative Comparisons
Ihave tried the Yamaha NU range and found the keyboards very heavy,not as responsive on subtly the sound of the CA-111 Kawai soundsuperior, and has the best tonal difference and effectiveness when it comes to playing
Pianissimo to Forte, even when played quickly. I have also tried the Roland range which has the heaviestdigital
piano action I have every played and the sound samples arejust not good enough.
What Makes the Kawai CA-111 Superior to Other Digitals
TheCA-111 would be perfect for anyone wanting to make recordings orYouTube videos. Whilst all digital pianos
have that digital sound, Ifind with the CA-111, if you stand a foot away it stops soundingdigital and starts sounding
exactly like a real piano. So if you mikeit a foot away rather than direct through the piano it gives you avery
realistic sound.
TheKawai grand sound is the best I have tried, I love to Harpsichordtoo, not just because it has one of the best
Harpsichord samples but you can choose your historical temprement. Whilst I do not play electric piano myself
being a Classicalplayer, my friend says it is the best he has played, as he plays JazzFusion.
Iplay at a Diploma level so this is perfect for any serious pianist,Beethoven sonatas no problem.
