Kawai Professional K18-E Upright Piano.

This piano is just over 10 years old and was owned by a beginner who barely used it – most of the hammers are completely unmarked showing that they have not been played at all. This piano was the predecessor model to the current K200 which retails at 4299.

This piano is suitable for all levels of playing, from beginner to advanced. A very worthy alternative to the Yamaha U1/ U3, and for the same price as a Yamaha which is from the 1970s you can have this Kawai which is from 2006. Being so new, you will not have any mechanical issues with this piano for many years, unlike the older Yamahas which will gradually require major maintenance as they get older.

The piano has been fully checked over by a trained technician who has confirmed that mechanically the piano is like-new.

This piano features Kawai’s “ultra responsive” action, which is entirely made of ABS composite components rather than wood which is used in rival manufacturers, this leads to greater reliability and stability. This action is one step down from the carbon fibre Millennium III action, but the feel is still superb.

The casework is in good condition with a few small scratches as expected on a used item but overall great condition. Includes very comft matching adjustable stool.
