Up for sale is a fully functioning, restored Korg MS2000. The keyboard has had two dying/dead chips replaced with brand new ones – the DAC and the DSP. (see last 2 images – the large 144 pin chip is the DSP and the smaller chip with jumper wires is the DAC). There is slight damage to the PCB from the removal of the DAC however I’ve repaired this with some 0.3mm wire (not ideal, but works as it should; please be careful around this area if disassembling). With two brand new chips installed, the keyboard will have many more years of life left – you won’t have to replace them any time soon.
The keybed was partially disassembled, and all keys have been washed. To my knowledge, everything on the keyboard is completely functional however I’ve not tested all the sounds/parameters. One knob is missing but once again, this does not drastically affect operation.
