This is is a professional stage piano and as such it does need an amplifier and speakers, unless you plug in headphones. The amplifier could be your PC or home stereo, but you need cables for that. I had it linked with a synthesiser. It is a very sold built (and thus heavy) piece of equipment. The touch to the keys are like a genuine piano, they are ‘balanced’. It comes without a stand. (For the photo I have put it on my DIY ‘workmate’). I hope this is helpful!
