Kurzweil PC88mx Performance Controller keyboard in mint condition! In such good condition, it’s like it was in a time warp. If you’re not familiar with the PC88mx, watch live performances during the mid-1990s and beyond and you might spot the large, “KURZWEIL PC88” logo on the back of a keyboard on stage, which faces the audience. There are plenty of demonstration videos of it on YouTube–do a search for Kurzweil PC88mx
The PC88mx is a full size 88 weighted keys keyboard. The keyboard action is the best that I have ever played and the internal sounds and effects are fantastic. It has many voices including beautiful pianos, electric pianos, strings, brass, bass and other professional sounds too numerous to mention, extremely high quality internal effects, four zones, MIDI, and programmable in a number of ways. There are no built-in speakers but headphones or an external sound system can be connected. I used it connected to my studio monitors and it sounded absolutely amazing in stereo.
I’ve owned the keyboard from new and it has never been gigged. It has always been used in my studio and, as you can see in the photos, the keyboard’s original screen protector is still intact.
The instrument comes complete with the original comprehensive manual, original power supply and sustain pedal.
The lucky purchaser will not be disappointed with this quality instrument. Due to its weight, however, the instrument will need to be collected from my home, but this will give the purchaser a chance to play this exceptional keyboard before finally committing to purchase.
