Leslie 2102 speaker with stand for sale.
It was bought new and has barely been used. It is in completely unmarked condition and works perfectly. It has only had domestic use.
It comes with the correct, original, Leslie stand and UK mains lead as well as the original user manual. The stand alone was 499 new so
please bear this in mind when making comparisons.
It can be used with many different keyboards not just with Hammond.
Ideally, delivery by courier or collection from Torquay or by arrangement from Gloucester.
I am prepared to pack the speaker to enable it to be sent by Parcel Force or similar but whilst I have the original
packaging it does not seem sufficiently strong for a second transit and I will have the items packed in alternative
stronger packaging.

GeneralThe Leslie 2101 rotary speaker is more compact and lighter than a traditional large Leslie and has a second separate channel for sounds not requiring Leslie enhancement, such as strings.. Weighing in at just 23 kg, it’s essentially the top half of a traditional Leslie combined with a perfect digital simulation of the lower rotor delivered through two 75 watt speakers. What’s more, this model is more tweak-able than any other Leslie speaker. If you’re an organist who regularly travels to rehearsals or performances, this Leslie model is much more manageable than a traditional version Leslie.In the late 1930s, Donald J. Leslie started designing the Leslie speaker. Basically, the concept makes use of the Doppler effect to alter how sound waves are heard relative to the listener. Just like a true vintage Leslie, this 2101 reproduces low and high tones separately. The characteristic Leslie horn rotor takes care of the treble above 800 htz, and a digital bass rotor takes care of the low frequencies. In total, this speaker offers an output of 50 watts for the horn and 150 watts for the left and right stationary speakers. The bass reproduction is surprisingly strong considering the compact size.
Connection options
There are various ways to connect to the Leslie 2101. It features connections for both 8-pin and 11-pin Leslie cables. Thanks to an line-in connector instruments without a special Leslie output can be plugged into the speaker.
It’s also possible to send instruments to only the Stationary portion of the 2101 where the rotary system is not used.
A MIDI input and output make it possible to send data from the keyboard or other MIDI device to the speaker.
