Here we have a LESLIE ORGAN SPEAKER – Model 120. This is the non-amplified model with a bass rotor only, designed generally for home organs. It is however still of substantial size:- HEIGHT 75cm, WIDTH 65cm, DEPTH 47cm. Serial No. BF3435, UK mains voltage. 50 watts.Included with the speaker is a 6-pin Leslie cable over 28 feet long, a control box with mains lead and plug, a (home-made but good look-alike) Chorale/(Off)/Tremolo switch, and an input cable currently fitted with a standard 1/4 inch jack plug. This is everything you should need to connect to the mono amplifier output of an organ, (or an external amp. if you are connecting to a modern keyboard).I bought only the speaker many years ago from another person in Bristol after the winning bidder defaulted. It was in fairly tidy condition but I took some time to collect all the extra parts and cables necessary to make it usable. When I tried it, the bass speaker sounded distorted and had to be replaced. Now everything is working and sounding good. I tried it on my analogue electronic church organ but it never suited my classical organ playing. It’s much more suited to a theatre-type organ. (Minor restoration has been made to the casework to improve it’s appearance).Please do not ask me to split the auction up if you are only interested in some items.
