A much-loved Antique / Victorian ‘B. Squire & Son’ Stanhope Street NW London – Upright Piano Dated 1882 with Rose Design Inlay. ‘Sole Agents: A. Wilson, Peck & Co.Ld. Sheffield’.
B. Squire have made thousands of pianos for the UK market beginning in 1829 and were considered to be one of the best manufacturers in the UK.
Selling due to lack of space.
Beautiful sound to it, all 85 keys working perfectly.
It measures 1m 21cm in hight, 1m 31cm long and 61cm deep.
It’s had a few knocks in the past (blaim the children) and the top left hand corner has some damage to the veneer (blame the Aspidistra) which can’t be seen when the top is open but despite these few faults the sound and playability isn’t affected. Please ask for more photos if required.
