MULTI-CONTACT SWITCH for electric action pipe-organ
(Kimber Allen M65)

One 65-contact Multi-contact switch for those who prefer mechanical switching to solid-state in their pipe organs. They operate on 12-16 volts
These switches are used for (1) Coupling – Swell to Great, Swell to Pedal, Great to pedal, Swell Octave etc……and (2) in an extension organ, you will need one of these for each stop on each manual
These come from a now-closed church in Bolton and were fitted in 1970. Though that is 50 years ago, they have had very light use, and their location in a “cupboard” has keep them free from damp and dust. The condition is really excellent. Before I sell them I shall clean them, adjust the spring, and de-solder any old wires.

Nowadays, mechanical switching is usually the expensive option (The Kimber-Allen p[rice list for 2020 lists these at a price of 244.40p each including VAT. Ouch!! I am renovating and listing these now at a starting price of 18 each. I actually have quite a large number of these, some single, and some in gangs, which I can easily separate if necessary)

Collection is possible. Otherwise I will use Hermes at a cost of 6 for a single switch. For more switches, the price will rise, but not by too much.
