This is a tremendous instrument. If you’ve searched out ‘Nord’ you’ll know what you’re looking for. If you’ve stumbled upon this, then this 73 note, semi-weighted keyboard gives a huge range of authentic sounding vintage instruments – Hammond B3, Vox,
Farfisa Organs; grand, upright and Electrical Pianos (Rhodes etc), Clavinet and Harpsichords. in the Electro 4 there is also a sample library that features the Mellotron and Chamberlin.
A quick google of ‘Nord Electro 4 SW73’ will throw up loads of details, specifications, reviews and samples etc. well worth a look.
This model is 4 and half years old. Bought in May 2014 for over 1600 including the Nord fitted soft case. It has had some v light gigging and domestic use… but for over 12 months now has not been used. (and has been living warm and dry in its Nord fitted soft case)
The keyboard itself is in full working order and in excellent condition, with some minor bumps on the wood work at the ends (see pics – though you have to look hard to notice!) The case has a small issue at the end on the zip where it snags on a torn section of the zipper (this can be avoided if you open from the other end.. but would also be a relatively inexpensive repair)
It is worth bearing in mind that these are not just some ‘generic midi keyboard’ but are proper instruments, handmade in Sweden.
