The Nord Stage 2 EX 88 is a 88-note stage piano with a premium weighted action keybed.
The EX range from Nord provides an expanded sound library with even more instruments, sampled sources and a huge 1GB memory dedicated to its Piano sounds alone.
The EX range combines Nords Grand Pianos, 7 of their Upright Pianos, 11 Electric Pianos, Clavinets, Harpsichords and an improved Sample Library selection including great Strings, Choir and Folk instruments.
The onboard synth section provides classic subtractive analogue synthesis samples, FM and wavetable synthesis mediums, with a powerful arpeggiator and unison capabilities.
The organ section includes Hammond b3 tone wheel emulation, rotary speaker models with voices modeled on vox and farfisa organs. The EX also includes digital LED drawbars for an authentic organ experience.
Each of the sound engines mentioned above can be stacked, layered and played simultaneously. Up to two pianos, two organs and two synthesizers running for huge multitimbrality.
