I am selling just the 3 keyboards from this very old organ on behalf of a charity. They are from an organ in an abandoned chapel.
This organ is sadly beyond redemption as a musical instrument and it is clear that some while back, it was stripped almost entirely of its pipework and windchests. Sadly, this has made identification much more difficult. The suspicion is that the organ is possibly by Gray & Davison, built around 1870. A tuners address plate from the firm of Rushworth & Dreaper is mounted to the console.
Please do ask if you have any further questions. The sale is done on the understanding that the keys have not yet been removed from the keyboard console. If the buyer would prefer to do this work themself that can be done.
