Phelps Mini Piano – Re-polished Mahogany Lid .

This is a beautiful mini Art Deco style piano of the 1930s.
I bought it as I had looked for ages for a compact really attractive piano. I had the top French polished as it had a ring stain from a cup on it.
The French polished top looks absolutely stunning, the main case hasnt been professionally polished and there is a small water stain hardly noticeable on the side.
The front of the piano opens up to show all the strings, there is one string that needs replacing. (The picture shows the broken string).
Phelps was one of the longest running Piano factories in Kentish Town, taken over more recently by Markson.
I am selling it with the piano stool that I had French Polished too and recovered in a natural linen. I got a protective linen cover made for it too that you can untie and wash.
It is a reluctant sell as we need the space. It will need 4 men to move it, I am happy to supply two people to help. A van can drive right up to my front door.
I have spent far more on the stool and piano than I am selling it for, but ultimately I want it sold!
