Pipe organ parts: a four-stop tracker action soundboardfrom a church in the West MidlandsThis Soundboard comes from a redundant church in the Dudley area of the West Midlands. It measures about 70″ x 20″, and is of 58 note compassit contained, until recently four complete stops : OPEN DIAPASON (Bassed tubed off); CLARABELLA (full 58 notes); DULCIANA (full 58, basses tubed off); and HARMONIC FLUTE (full 58 notes).It seemed to be in good condition and I couldn’t detect any runnings. I bought the organ recently after the church closed, and have rescued the pipework and some other parts. It seemed sad to leave the soundboards behind, as small ones can be quite useful.Remaining in the organ are both soundboards (the swell is the same dimensions, and also 4 stops), the swellbox (I did bring the shutters home with me, but if anybody wants the box including shutters, i will gladly release them!), 2 bellows (one very small), the 2 tracker keyboards, and all the mechanical action. The nice oak stool is still there, though it may be that someone in the church has their eyes on that. The pedalboard is also there (again, nice, but smaller than standard) Any takers for any of this??? (if so, call me – my details are on the final photo)The soundboards are still sitting there on the building frame, so any buyer will need to bring a couple of strong people to help lift them off!I live 130 miles away in West Yorkshire, so will put the buyer in touch with the church trustees (very friendly) who will open the building for you.
