A Tracker action SOUNDBOARD for a pipe-organ
We have just salvaged the pipework from a closed church. The organ was good quality, built by Peter Conacher of Huddersfield, and restored in 2001. So good condition.It seems a shame to leave the soundboards behind (actually there are two if anyone is interested, each with room for 5 stops.I forgot to measure the soundboard, but it is probably 2ft wide and about 5-6ft long. 58 notes. The stops that used to be on the soundboard are a follows (1) Open Diapason, but only from about Tenor F as the lower pipes were tubed off to make the facade of the organ (Personally I would use this slide to take a Fifteenth. The soundboard can easily be drilled through for the bass pipes(2) Gedackt, full compass(3)Principal, full compass(4)Dulciana, taking its bass Octave from the Gedackt(5) Wald Flute, full compassBUT HERE’S THE CATCH……I live about 75 miles away, and have stripped out all of the manual pipework this week. The buyer will have to go into the church and take out the soundboard – quite a bit of unscrewing, and a 2-3 person lift. The church is just off the Chester Ring Road (and just in Wales!) in Buckley.If you want the action for the soundboards, that is there too. If you want the drawstops, they will cost an extra 3 each.

Do feel free to call me if you have any requests for pipework.Just a footnote: I do get quite a few requests from private contacts outside Ebay. If one of these wants to buy any of my listed ranks of pipes/parts, I would take them off Ebay during a listing and sell them privately. Once a bid has been placed however, I will always leave the listing to run its course. The moral of the story? – If you want an item, place a bid on it sooner rather than at the last minute.
