Pump / pedal Church Organ Spencer built ‘University’ would suit Church or Chapel without electricity, or as a second organ in a side chapel or someone looking for a genuine organ sound. Has the added advantage of not requiring any power. Reasonably portable, buyer needs to collect please. Happy to answer questions, located close to Nantwich, Cheshire. Believed to be from 1960s, serial number 13. Builder Arthur J Spencer Ltd. Manchester. I’ve given it a limited try out and everthing seems to work fine. Attractive light wooden finish, a really nice alternative to the usual old fashioned look of a harmonium. Some slight damp blemish to right hand bottom rear corner and the swell function (knee operated) is a bonus, as are the number of stops. Manual feels brand new to the touch, lockable cover with key. One wooden roller missing from the swell control but this doesn’t affect the operation. Original matching stool included.
