Rank of Organ Pipes: 4ft FLUTE (All stopped wood)
THE ORGAN has been dismantled for some years, but came originally from a Lincolnshire Church. Built in 1865.This Flute is by the celebrated Hull firm of FORSTER AND ANDREWS, and as such it is of first class workmanship and tonal quality. It is made entirely of stopped wood
The wind pressure is about 3″, and the key compass is 56 notes (C to G). The pipes are in excellent condition, and the sound is lovely.The two flute stops on this (originally) single manual organ were a Stopped Diapason 8ft, and this matching 4ft wooden stopped flute. This Stopped Diapason is listed separately. I suppose in an ideal world, the two stops should be bought together, and placed together on an organ where they blend so well. If you have any ideas of having these two together, call me and we will arrange this.

The pipes are at my home in West Yorkshire, just minutes from Junction 24 of the M62. Maybe it is just light enough to send in a crate (Please call me if you want to discuss this option)
Just a final note:- Because I have so many other customers, people independent of Ebay, often ask me for a set of pipes or parts while a listing is running. My practice is often to remove the listing for them if there are no bids on the item, but never to remove the listing after a bid has been placed. For this reason if you are interested in any of my organ pipes or parts, I strongly recommend you put a first bid on an item rather than leaving your bidding to the last minute!
