RANK OF ORGANPIPES;   FIFTEENTH  2ft
Good quality pipework from a redundant Anglican Church in Greater Manchester. The Organ was built 1889 by ERNEST WADSWORTH, a well-reputed Manchester builder. This is good quality pipework, in lovely condition and all pipes have tuning slides. Although the church has been closed 10 years, you can tell that the whole organ was restored in the 1986, hence its relative cleanness and undamaged condition. Compass is 56 notes (CC to top G)
I have photographed this stop in situ, on its chest in the organ. I hope the photos do justice to it, taken from a rather restricted position.
The wind pressure appears to be about 3 inches wg.
My details are on the final photo – do call if you have questions. Collection in person is much the best way of getting these, as small pipes are quite fragile. However a Fifteenth is small enough to pack well in a crate. Carriage will then cost about 20
