Rank of Organ Pipes: FIFTEENTH, 2ft
A fifteenth is a rank in the Diapason family, sounding at 2ft pitch. This one sounded very nice and bright when playing in the organ.THE ORGAN was in a South Yorkshire church, and built by the Leeds Builder ABBOTT AND SMITH in 1900. The wind pressure is about 3″, and the key compass is 61 notes (C to C). Like most Abbott and Smith pipework, this is well made and of good quality.My details are on the final photo, should you wish to contact me with questionsThough these are marked “Collection only”, they are (just) light enough to be sent by Hermes, and this should cost about 20.
