Rank of Organ Pipes: HORN (CORNOPEAN), 8ft
The organ, rescued from a Manchester Catholic church, is by JARDINE. Key compass is 58 notes (CC to top A), and wind pressure is presumed to be around 3″. These pipes make a good sound, are of splendid quality, and in good condition. This reed is full compass, but the very lowest pipes of the bottom octave have 3/4 length resonators (presumably to fit them into a lower swellbox)

This rank is too heavy to be sent by carrier, so it is “collection only”. I live 5 minutes from Junction 24, M62, so quite easy to access.Just a footnote: I do get quite a few requests from private contacts outside Ebay. If one of these wants to buy any of my listed ranks of pipes, I would take them off Ebay during a listing and sell them privately. Once a bid has been placed however, I will always leave the listing to run its course. The moral of the story? – If you want an item, place a bid on it sooner rather than at the last minute.
