Rank of Organ Pipes:   4ft PRINCIPAL
A principal is a rank in the Diapason family, found on Great or Swell organs, and is normally of 4ft pitch. This one comes from a redundant organ in the West Midlands, and is thought to have been built by a local builder. This Principal was found on the Swell organ, and is of moderately narrow scale, not too forced in tone, but quite bright. It is made of plain pipe metal (probably 10% tin). Apart from the odd small dent, it is in very good condition and speaks well.  The stop has a 58-note compass to Top A)Pressure is assumed to be about 3 inches wg.My details are on the final photo, should you wish to contact me with questionsThese are rather heavy to send by carrier, so “Collection only” is preferable. The pipes at my home in West Yorkshire, just minutes from Junction 24 of the M62.
