Rank of Organ pipes –  Twelfth  22/3ft
The organ,  rescued from a Hampshire church (which now uses a digital organ) has not played for 30 years since the pneumatics became unreliable. It is by the famous Victorian organ builders GRAY AND DAVISON. Fortunately it is an active church and regularly heated, so pipework has remained in lovely condition, and speaks well
This is an excellent rank on an organ of splendid pipework, as you might expect from this builder. A few of the tiniest trebles were damaged in the past and have been replaced by similar pipes (with even a spare one thown in in case of any mishap with a small pipe)
Key compass is 61 notes, and wind pressure is recorded as 3 inches wg.
My details are on the final photo, should you wish to contact me with questions. I have a surplus of pipes and organ parts at the moment, including some ranks from this organ which are being listed at the moment. Do feel free to call me if you have any requests for pipework (details on final photo)
This rank is (just) within the weight and length restrictions of Hermes, so could be sent by carrier (the cost would be about 15).
Equally it could be collected; I live 5 minutes from Junction 24, M62, so quite easy to access. For a winning bidder from the south of England, I am making several trips in the next 4 months (virus permitting) to Oxfordshire, Worcestershire, Hampshire and Dorset, so could liaise with a buyer.
Just a footnote: I do get quite a few requests from private contacts outside Ebay. If one of these wants to buy any of my listed ranks of pipes, I would take them off Ebay during a listing and sell them privately. Once a bid has been placed however, I will always leave the listing to run its course. The moral of the story? – If you want an item, place a bid on it sooner rather than at the last minute.
