Original 1936 Art Deco ‘Steck’ piano, by appointment to the Royal Family. This beautiful high quality upright piano is of a rare Art Deco design. Its striking stepped sides, combined with its stunning arced front gives it an overall construction typical of the Art Deco period which makes it collector’s piece in it’s own right. Its serial number is stamped inside the top lid, as are the Royal Coat of Arms, the date of manufacture and the Brass maker’s mark. Slightly shorter in height than traditional upright pianos.
Approx. measurements:Height = 40″ Depth = 20″ Length = 54″
It’s used and loved (!) and in great condition. All its 85 keys are unchipped and in perfect working order. Only things to note are it has not been tuned for a few years and the wheels underneath are fairly tired and old. Collection only. Must be able to pick the piano up and transport it down one flight of stairs (wide victoria stairwell).If you have any questions please dont hesitate to ask.
