This is a very rare and very old Monington & Weston London upright piano with beautifully-carved wood panels.
Very pretty to look at but also aged, so not in good condition and rather scarred, stained and battered. Saying that, she still plays and all her keys work fine – though she hasnt been tuned in two years – so would be ideal for a beginner to have a good old go on.
Definitely way past her best but our girls have played and practised on her right up until posting this ad and are about to take their grade 3 exams, so not bad for an old girl!
Buyer will need to lift and collect. I have a specialist (and reasonable) piano mover I can highly recommend.
I have started at a very low price due to its condition but if you love it enough, it’s worth it.
