Bechstein Model 9 painted in a Shabby Chic Duck Egg green colour. Unusual cant say ive seen another in this colour. Looks to have been Ebonized originally. Tuned to concert pitch A=440Hz recently. Wrest plank in good condition with no cracks (all exposed to see) and tunings pins are tight. Strings are clean and in good condition no tarnishing. Looks to have been restrung in recent past – string felt looks very clean also. Serial dates piano to 1910s.
Transport can be arranged at your cost if you wish by professional movers. Audition welcome. Located in Palmers Green N13.
Bechstein are a top brand of piano makers. The model 9 was desirable because of its smaller size (for older pianos) and also being cross strung. Fairly light touch. More pictures to follow..!
