RECONDITIONING WORK CARRIED OUT
The mechanism of this instrument has been inspected, cleaned, overhauled and regulated in our workshop
by a qualified piano technician and is now in first class working order.
The strings have been cleaned and tuned to concert pitch. (A=440)
The casework has been stripped and re-sprayed gloss black in our workshop and remains in excellent
condition with no marks or scratches.
All the brass fittings hinges, pedals etc. have been burnished
The 88 note keyboard is in perfect condition with no damage.

Message from the vendor.
Built in 1935 at their factory in London. As with all the pianos made by this company after 1930, the soundboard is sandwiched between two cast-iron frames which gives the instrument a pleasant, clear, bell-like tone. The Tuplex double iron frame was patented in 1930, both frames expand equally with a change in temperature ensuring that the instrument stays in tune for much longer than other pianos.
Purchased from a good home in Essex, it has been well maintained and tuned annually.
A delightful piece of vintage furniture and a quality instrument that plays with a rich, tone and a light to medium touch.
It is guaranteed for 5 years.
