Rogers are one of the best organ builders in America and have produced both pipe and digital organs for many years. These have been both classical (church) and theatre (cinema)and more recently a mixture of the two. The C445 is one of the earliest digital classical organs from the early 1990’s, when manufacturers were just starting to sample sounds from pipe organs and other musical instruments.Here is a link to a guide with some detailed information on the specification of the organ http://www.churchkeyboard.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/440-445-rescan.pdfThis organ is currently located and has been used by the local village church although has not been used for several yearsUpon testing the organ there are a number of faults1. The keyboard cover is damaged and as such will not pull down or retract. You can see the condition from the picture above. Upon removing the top and back of the organ we have moved it to an out of the way position.2. A few of the black keys on the upper keyboard on the right hand side are a bit sticky, that is upon pressing they stay pressed. We believe a bit of cleaning should be able to resolve this3. A few of they keys on both the upper and lower keyboard produce no sound. We are not sure for the reason for this and this is why I am relisting the organ. We hope a good service of the organ should be able to put it back into working condition, but I am no expert.The foot pedals and all stops are working and I am told the organ does have a nice sound to itThe organ comes with the pictured stool and foot pedals as well as lights to assist in viewing both hand and foot keyboards if you wish to have them.Although the organ is not massive in size, delivery is not possible for us, so we are selling as a collection item only.
