Roland RD1000 Classic Stage Piano. Condition is Used.
For sale to someone in the know is my cherished RD1000 stage piano. This is the piano that was the keyboard of choice for Elton John and (as I found out lately) is still used by Gilbert O’Sullivan and many others. I have personally travelled the world with this beauty in various bands and it has never once given any trouble. Still fully working and sounds great! Has the classic MKS20 piano sounds with SAS sound generation and the clan and elec. pianos are sublime with chorus and trem! This is a proper pro kbd like they used to make them, with XLR outputs and jacks and the power supply in the TWO pedal unit and.. a locking mechanism for the keyboard to prevent damage whilst in transit!!….Proper!!… Oh..and a flat top for another kbd on top without the need for stand extensions!!….Where are the kbds like that any more!!
Usual marks and scratches for a machine of this age and the legending is fading a little but still fully useable (see pics).
This item is……HEAVY!! approx 43Kg’s so bring a friend!! Collection only for obvious reasons… or for a charge I could deliver in my van. Stand in photos not included.
