Royale / Daewoo Upright Piano made in 1986
Welcome to Berries Barn Pianos – specialising in high quality modern uprights, fully serviced and tuned and carefully delivered to their new homes.
This is a beautiful looking and very high quality piano made by the highly regarded Daewoo company in South Korea in 1986, which is a very high quality copy of the benchmark Yamaha U1 for a much lower price. Suitable for any level of player and it has had very little use – the insides are virtually as new and the case looks very good.

Tone and tuning
Lovely tone that is big and bright and even throughout the registers. Good expressive dynamic range. It has just been tuned to concert pitch (A=440).
Keyboard and action
The full compass 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the action has just been regulated so plays smoothly across the whole keyboard with a light-medium weight action. Perfect for beginners or advanced pianists.
Hammers and strings
Hardly any wear at all in the hammers (see pictures) – it has certainly not been played heavily! Strings also in excellent condition as expected for a relatively new piano.
Sound board
Excellent condition solid spruce, no cracks or splits.
Case
Beautiful black gloss polyester finish case. In overall good condition – there are some marks and scratches on the top surfaces and the odd little dent – see pictures. Definitely not pristine but looks stunning overall and would suit pretty much any home.
