Schimmel 174 Grand Piano. Extremely fine instrument
I am having to part with at, albeit rather reluctantly because I want to rent out my house and there is no room in my current home. The action, felts and strings are in perfect condition as it wasn’t played much before I bought it about 10 years ago. The case has some fading due to being left out in the sun with the lid open by the previous owner. There is also a rather faint scratch on the lid. This is a professional quality piano with a powerful bass and a particulary sweet upper mid range. Brand new, these are over 20000. This partcular model is from the 1980s and due to the cosmetic defects would normally sell for somewhere between 7000 to 10000. This is a real opportunity for someone who needs a good piano to practise on, or maybe for a recording studio or venue for which this piano would be ideal.
